Curious about who crafted your piece of high-quality custom furniture? Meet our Production Team! This crew of guys is talented, passionate, and excited about furniture design. They find joy in taking raw wood and creating something extraordinary out of it. You can find them in our Canton shop working hard day after day building your custom furniture!

Mitch is our Lead Engineer and Project Manager! You can find him in the shop working on Refined Industrial projects, designing custom pieces for our commercial clientele. Mitch’s family owned a cabinet shop when he was a kid and after high school joined the apprenticeship program where he began to learn the ins and outs of cabinetry. After working as an apprentice and seeing the cabinet industry modernize, he decided to go back to school and learn how to engineer fixtures and cabinets. Mitch’s knowledge and expertise make him a key player on our team! When he isn’t in the shop he is spending time with family, playing sports with his kids, or teaching them about new technology.

Meet Elliott! He started as a builder on our team, learning the trade with glue-ups, sanding, and finished prep. He was recently promoted to our Shop Project Manager. As the Shop PM, He manages day-to-day shop workflow, custom projects, and order updates. When he’s not at work he can be found doing anything outdoors or hanging out near any body of water. He recently moved back to Georgia after spending 10 years in San Diego.

John Michael serves as our Logistics Coordinator and one of our Senior Craftsmen. He has been in the woodworking trade for over five years and has a wide skillset that encompasses almost everything we create at Rustic Trades. When he is not at work, he can be found rock climbing or doing Jiu-Jitsu. He is married to his wife Lexie and has a cat named Rufus. He lost his finger to a bear attack while backpacking! We are so glad to have him on our team.

Jordan is a fun member of our team at the Shop! He started with us as one of our very first craftsmen and recently rejoined our team. He specializes in making samples and spraying all of our furniture with precision and craft. When Jordan is not working hard in the shop you can find him hanging out with friends and family or doing something outdoors. He’s passionate about his faith and spends a lot of time mentoring men younger than him.

Zach enjoys woodworking because he loves the process of seeing rough lumber become something exquisite. One of the Rustic Trades’ craftsmen, Jordan, got Zach into woodworking a few years ago and he has been a great addition ever since. Zach flourishes in the creativity and challenge that comes with this craft. Anyone who knows Zach knows his deep passion for music. He’s either listening to music, playing, sharing it, or attending a concert any chance he has.

David is one of our talented Craftsmen. He specializes in building our farm tables, specifically our tops. David enjoys working in this trade as it keeps him busy and sustains his merriness. He is a Georgia native and enjoys spending time with his three dogs. There is no one like David and he makes the shop fun and interesting!

Meet Sam! He is a new Craftsman on our Production Team. He got connected with Rustic Trades through our founder. Clay was Sam’s Insideout leader a few years ago. Sam helps us with deliveries, maintenance at the shop, and fills in the gaps wherever is needed. Sam is a student at Kennesaw State University where he’s highly involved with his Fraternity! Sam works with us part time in between his class schedule.

Stephen is a brand new addition to our team at the Shop! He enjoys woodworking because it gives him the ability to be creative. He began his career in woodworking, similar to our founder, building furniture for his family. Quickly he was hooked and began building for friends and neighbors! Stephen has spent the past 8 years brewing craft beer and enjoys spending time with family on the weekends.

We love our incredible team! Stay in the loop with us on Instagram and Facebook to see them in action.
